The Story Behind the Story

This is a memoir blog chronicling my momma’s journey with cancer from 2009 to 2014 and our family’s experience of loving, caring for, and grieving her. Through personal stories, memories, and reflections, I write about the ordinary moments and profound lessons that shaped our lives before, during, and after her illness. It is a space for remembering who she was beyond cancer, honoring the love she gave so freely, and exploring how caregiving, loss, family, and memory continue to change us.
