Evening
Mom is on solids, off all IV juice and onto oral drugs. She walked!
Still watching the bleeding but I think she might be discharged tomorrow. She got after a couple nurses, so I think she's feeling more like her feisty self.
New primary docs identified at home, and Mayo is making a referral in Denver. Dad is doing an excellent job managing everything and coordinating it all. He had all her meds before retiring to the hotel tonight, and had lengthy conversations with the docs this afternoon. What a great patient advocate he is!
Hip hip... Don't say it yet.
Thank you, Taryn, for keeping us up to date on your mother. I appreciated it so much. Have a safe trip tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHugs and prayers are being sent to you, Paulette. Keep being feisty!!
"Courage can't see around corners but goes around them anyway". I saw this quote and it's so you Paulette. Good news on the possible discharge, we will keep our fingers crossed. One day at a time and I hope tomorrow is a good one. Love ya, Brad
