Happy 4th of July, peeps! Mom gets stronger each day. Her days could be likened to hubzo's favorite Clint Eastwood flick: the good, the bad and the ugly. We've been cooking the last two days and are hoping to try for homemade butterfinger ice cream today (thanks for the recipe, Stacey).

Happy 4th of July, Paulette and Family...hope this is one of your good days!! Homemade ice cream AND kids home with you too!!...doesn't get much better than that, huh?? We'll be gone next weekend, moving Callie to KC for nursing school, but our Pak O'Burtons will sure be with you in spirit...have a wonderful celebration!!! We're all thinking of you and praying that each day adds strength to your body and spirit! Sadie says Hi to Cole, and wants to know if he'd like to come and swim in her pool!!! Every day can be a party if we want it to be :>) We've been island hopping for our summer vacation in NW KS. For Sid's 50th we went to Hawaii (via Cedar Bluff), today we're visiting Ellis Island (tee hee). Mom wants to go to the Isle of Capri for her birthday, so we are playing it up and having fun with it.
May your "ugly" days of recovery be fewer and fewer! Someone please have a dish of hand churned ice cream for me :>)
