Each day is different
Father's Day tuckered mums out, but she sounded better today. She's back in GC and awaiting another doc appointment tomorrow to check the infection.
Thanks for all the comments and kind notes and emails with tips for mom's nutrition. You guys are the best.

Hi Paulette,
ReplyDeleteGood luck at the doctor's office tomorrow.
Thinking of you often and praying for you daily!
Love,
Marieta
Good Morning, Paulette.
ReplyDeleteThe birds are singing, the early morning air is cool, the sun is bright, and God is on His throne ... all is well with the world. Oh, there may be struggles and there may be challenges, but we can chime in with the song writer who wrote "All Is Well With My Soul." We have God's grace, His unconditional love, His strength, His mercy, His peace, and His encouragement that outweigh difficult circumstances and our own limitations. I am praying that you receive a good report from the doctor today.
Today's Joke:
A man followed a woman and her dog out of a movie theater. He stopped her and said, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I couldn't help noticing that your dog was really into the movie. He cried at the right spots and fidgeted in his seat at the boring parts. Most of all, he laughed like crazy at the funny parts. Did you find that unusual?"
"Yes," she replied, "becase he hated the book!"
Encouraging Words in Ephesians 6:23-24 -- “Love mixed with faith be yours, Paulette, from God the Father and from the Master, Jesus Christ. Pure grace and nothing but grace be with all who love our Master, Jesus Christ.”
Eat hearty, rest and relax, laugh often ... you are a much loved lady, Paulette.
Caring about you,
Joyce
Good Morning Paulette,
ReplyDeleteWoooooHooooo Rockies! Are they hot or what!
Not unlike our Paulette... you have been amazing with the challenge that came your way uninvited, certainly unwanted, changing it's mind every few days. You've been north, south, east and west for several months; on the map, mentally, and physically trying to get a grip on this roller coaster ride. It may seem slow going uphill, but it beats those sudden descent ahead of starting uphill again. There have been enough of those dips!
So let's focus on a dip of your tootsies in a warm and scented soak, a dip of honey in a tall iced tea, a dip of salsa with lunch, a dip of ice cream - no make that a double dip of ice cream... dip and zip....
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay,
My, oh, my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin' YOUR way,
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay!
Mister Bluebird's on YOUR shoulder,
It's the truth, it's "actch'll"
Everything is "satisfactch'll."
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay,
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day!
