Still waiting, but she's eating ice cream!

We haven't found anything out yet... everyone, all the nurse coordinators and docs that mom met with again today, are all wondering, too. I'm hopping a morning flight to go spend a belated Mother's Day and send my daddy back home to Kansas for some much needed rest.

Mummy has some nice gifts coming her way tomorrow. Lots of thoughtful people on this planet.

I got texts and emails all day long from people wearing their all variations of yellow from California to New York City! Thanks for the support, awesome peeps!!! Happy Friday night.

  1. Good Morning, Paulette,

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it. Yes, this day is a blank slate as we awake to see what God has planned for our May 16, 2009. He does have a plan, as we well know, don't we, Paulette? Oh, we may open our eyes, yawn, stretch, and muse, Hmmm, wonder what might happen today. On the other hand, God watches us with a big smile, wondering why we've "slept in" on such an exciting day. Yes, He has a fantastic party planned for you today, my friend (for me, too, of course). He has orchestrated His blessings of love and encouragement for you through the words of family and friends, the thoughtfulness of others, and the arrival of Taryn. He has pulled together the very strings of heaven and earth to give you His very best ... a little here, a little there in just the right amount at just the right time to let you know that He is guiding and guarding the circumstances of your life to bring about His plan for your life -- every detail of your life is being directed by His wisdom and conducted through the filter of His awesome grace. Jump up and get into this gift of May 16, my friend. Expect to see His hand, anticipate His hugs and kisses, relax in His strong arms. God loves you, Paulette ... and so do I.

We're enjoying a gentle rainfall this morning - if I get very, very quiet, I can hear the raindrops falling in rhythm with my tap-tap-tapping on the keyboard. Raindrops keep falling on my head! Now, that would be a way excellent problem, eh?

    Today's Joke:
What's red and looks like a bucket? A red bucket.
What's blue and looks like a bucket? A red bucket in disguise!

Encouraging Words from Romans 5:10 -- "And since, when we were His enemies, we were brought back to God by the death of His Son, what blessings He must have for us now that we are His friends, and He is living within us!"

    Enjoy your Saturday, Paulette.

Thinking about you, praying, and caring,
    Joyce

  2. Good Morning Paulette, Greg & Taryn,

The puzzling schedule of the transplant board is not allowed to steal one moment of joy from this day. Soak up the sunshine, marvel at springtime, swing in the park, hold hands, sing-a-long to an old favorite, find a quaint place for brunch, whistle, skip, let your inner child out to play.

Praying for a happy day in Rochester.

    Lovew and Hugs,
    Susie

  4. Brad & I continue to pray for you too Paulette. We hope you are feeling stronger each day. We hope your appetite is good and food is tasting good. It is 52 cool degrees here in Ulysses! We've had a very few sprinkles. I was in Garden 2 days helping Kate-she broke her arm. All 3 of my grandson's have had the flu since Wed. This a.m. 2 of them had fevers of 103.9. My girls are so sick of it. So, wash your hads a lot and stay away from the flu germs! Hang in there. Love, Sonja & Brad Wooldridge
