Easter bunny likes a little milkshake
As most of you know, mums like to shake her tail every now and then.
Nobody fires up a joyful event better than her. Doesn't matter if she's in the Turkey's Nest in Brooklyn kicking everyone's bum at Big Buck Hunter, involving herself with the important folks of the Four Faced Liar in the West Village, ordering chicken nachos at the Sports Column in Denver, escorting me to the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center, planning my wedding, instructing hubzo on how football is played in the Midwest, marinating shrimp for a series of barbecued pizzas in her own backyard, or cooking quesadillas at KSU stadium, my momma knows how to have fun.
Although her most adventurous venture today involves a chocolate milkshake and a nap, I'm confident that the Easter bunny is planning an appearance tomorrow.

When it comes to cooking -- I knew nothing! I stood and watch her whip up GOODIES at the drop of Hat.... I learned everything from a German Cabbage roll to YEKRUT.... Remember that????
ReplyDeleteHow about the time I fell into Jerry's birthday cake... and you outlined the hand and wrote on the cake..."Give Jerry a Hand" Cooking was always you forte...Mrs. Fort... Now EATING must be! Hope you are getting stronger each day! Love the Coxes
Good Morning and Happy Eater ... I mean, Easter ... however, "eater" is a good word for you today, Paulette. Chocolate bunnies, peepers, lots of different high-calorie Easter basket treats. Remember, some bunny loves you!! You're no bunny until some bunny loves you ...tra, la, la. Have a blessed Easter Sunday, Paulette. Jesus paid a price He did not owe for us who owed a debt we could not pay. The cross could not hold Him; the grave could not keep Him. He is risen. Rest well and take second helpings of the tasty stuff. Caring about you, Joyce

ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Paulette, Greg, Taryn & Thayne,
ReplyDeleteHope you are all well-rested and taking a down-day before more of the same tomorrow.
Except for Chippie barking it's a nice quiet day here. Chip rustled up some testoserone about something, we're not sure what. He can't see, so maybe he doesn't know either :>) Jerry ushered this morning, so we went to the 9am service. Had a public prayer for you, Paulette, for a successful surgery tomorrow. And, here is part of the text from the benediction today:
Psalm 121:7-8.
"The Lord will keep you from all harm -- He will watch over your life; The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore".
Hope your appetite is 100% today. I'm sending 10 lbs through the airways right now... and there is more where that came from. If this works, I'll be rich :>)
Love and Hugs to all of you! Susie & Jerry
Twas not our usual Easter thankfulness...we missed the Easter baskets, jolly humor, the hsm bone that flavors endless pots of beans with scallons on top and toasted with fragrant cornbread.
ReplyDeleteConsoled by the steady trinkle of rain and the knowledge that a gentle hand from above will guide these dedicated Dr.s to excise and destroy the uninvited, unwanted pestilance, the moocher that didn't know when to leave.
We all know that restraining orders do not always keep stalkers abay..so while it may be against our nature to exterminate whether by scaple or other means this little bugger has stayed around too long.
That is my Easter wish.
Old Momma
Just to let you know...our little girls, Rayne, Autumn and Bree have been saying daily prayers for their beloved Mr. & Mrs. Santa Clause and their amazing elves.
